One of the missions of the ERN EpiCARE is to promote cross-borders collaborative clinical and fundamental research for rare and complex epilepsies.
At the initiative of ERN EpiCARE Working Groups, we offer the possibility to medical teams based in Europe, members or not of ERN EpiCARE, to provide information about collaborative calls proposed by Investigators.
We consider that such calls can be particularly useful for rare and complex diseases, for which the clinical spectrum and/or natural history is often barely known; usually, the number of patients published is limited to a handful, their recruitment may be strongly biased towards a few clinical features, and their clinical description often limited.
