Save the Date: In Search of Lost Time - 6th Workshop, Rome

November 12–14, 2025 | Rome, Italy

The 6th edition of the Rome Workshop, In Search of Lost Time, will convene clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, and industry stakeholders to tackle some of the most urgent and forward-looking challenges in the epilepsy field. This year’s workshop will explore three major themes:

  • Fever-induced epilepsies, with a focus on genetic underpinnings, clinical syndromes such as Dravet and GEFS+, translational models, and treatment strategies;
  • Clinical readiness for antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) and gene therapies, aiming to prepare the epilepsy community for emerging trials in monogenic developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs);
  • Artificial Intelligence in epilepsy, highlighting its role in seizure prediction, outcome forecasting, and personalized care.

Through a multidisciplinary approach and active engagement with young epileptologists and patient representatives, the Rome Workshop continues its mission of fostering collaboration and advancing innovative solutions for people living with epilepsy.

Abstracts may be submitted for presentations in the ‘Fostering the Future‘ session, reserved to 8 early-career clinicians or researchers. This session is open to free-topic presentations. Instructions can be found here.
