5th International Video-EEG Course in Paediatric Epilepsies

Next Training course: 29 - 31 October 2026 (Madrid, Spain)

The Spanish Epilepsy Society (SEEP), together with leading international institutions and with the endorsement of ILAE-Europe, will host the 5th International Video-EEG Course in Paediatric Epilepsies in Madrid, Spain. The course will provide a practical and comprehensive overview of paediatric epileptology, combining clinical and neurophysiological approaches to epilepsy diagnosis and management. This year’s edition will place special emphasis on the application of current ILAE diagnostic criteria and their role in personalized treatment.

Treatment Strategies in Pediatric Epilepsies (cycle 2024-2026) is an international training course designed to bridge geographical and knowledge gaps in epilepsy care. It aims to regularly update neurologists and child neurologists on the best practices when treating children and adolescents with epilepsy.

The 12th International Residential Course on Drug Resistant Epilepsies is designed for neurologists, epileptologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of drug-resistant epilepsy. The course is based on two main educational study methods: we will have lectures from expert epileptologists and working groups with tutors.

In Search of Lost Time 7

Next Workshop: 11-13, November 2026 (Rome, Italy)

The seventh edition of the “In Search of Lost Time 7” workshop will take place in Rome from 11 to 13 November 2026, at the Istituto Patristico Augustinianum. The event is organized by Italian epilepsy centres and endorsed by the International League Against Epilepsy and ERN EpiCARE, and the registration will open on 5 May.

14th European SEEG Course

Next Workshop: SOON

The SEEG course, endorsed by EpiCARE, is a unique initiative which has proved extremely successful since 2010. The European Course will take place in Venice, Italy from February 24th to 27th, 2026. Participants analyze patient data, design SEEG investigations, interpret findings, and discuss surgical decisions under expert supervision.
 
Registrations will open in September/ October 2025.
