Next Training course: 23 - 26 April 2025 (Girona, Spain)

Treatment Strategies in Pediatric Epilepsies (cycle 2024-2026) is an international training course designed to bridge geographical and knowledge gaps in epilepsy care. It aims to regularly update neurologists and child neurologists on the best practices when treating children and adolescents with epilepsy.

Next Training course: 4 - 10 May 2025 (Tagliacozzo, Italy)

The 12th International Residential Course on Drug Resistant Epilepsies is designed for neurologists, epileptologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of drug-resistant epilepsy. The course is based on two main educational study methods: we will have lectures from expert epileptologists and working groups with tutors.

In Search of Lost Time 6

Next Workshop: 12 - 14 November 2025 (Rome, Italy)

The 6th edition of the Rome Workshop, In Search of Lost Time, will convene clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, and industry stakeholders to tackle some of the most urgent and forward-looking challenges in the epilepsy field. This year’s workshop will explore three major themes: Fever-induced epilepsies, Clinical readiness for antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) and gene therapies and Artificial Intelligence in epilepsy. 

U-Task European Taskforce Childhood Epilepsy Surgery

Next Workshop: 11- 12 April 2025 (London, UK)

The next U-Task meeting to discuss paediatric epilepsy surgery complex cases will be held in London (King’s College Hospital), the 11th and 12th of April 2025.

14th European SEEG Course

Next Workshop: 24 - 27 April 2026 (Venice, Italy)

The SEEG course, endorsed by EpiCARE, is a unique initiative which has proved extremely successful since 2010. The European Course will take place in Venice, Italy from February 24th to 27th, 2026. Participants analyze patient data, design SEEG investigations, interpret findings, and discuss surgical decisions under expert supervision.
 
Registrations will open in September/ October 2025.

The EpiCARE Neuroimaging work group, led by Prof. Marusic from Motol University Hospital (Prague, Czech Republic) and by Dr. Sophie Adler, from UCL (London, UK), have organised 5 neuroimaging workshops. You will find more details on the workshops, as well as links to replay the workshops.
